Kent Supportive Housing

This project consists of one four-story structure containing 80 residential units with 69 studios and 11 one-bedroom units. The facility will offer on-site staff 24/7, office space, and access to workforce training programs. The location is walking distance from the Link light rail, bus station, grocery stores, and Highline College which offers services for veterans and others experiencing homelessness, and people living with chronic mental illness and substance abuse issues who are preparing to move into permanent supportive housing. Marpac faced sound mitigation issues in developing a building in such close proximity to Interstate 5 and Link light rail, and our construction strategies decreased the total noise pollution in the area.
