The project was a complete interior and exterior rehabilitation of the former St. Regis Hotel. The 56,000 square-foot, nine-story structure required massive structural steel and engineered lumber seismic upgrades. Elements such as the marble staircase, Italian terrazzo floor, display cases, and chandelier light fixtures were restored. Building exterior improvements included masonry tuck-pointing, repainting, restoration of decorative water tables, and window replacement.
